The goals, structure, and program philosophies of Nueva School for the Arts are quite unique in Sonoma County.  We believe in the communal experience of art and ingenuity, and utilize the student led creativity as a shared language among our diverse student population.  In Nueva we constantly challenge our young learners to think critically and employ creative solutions to traditional problems.  Nueva attracts students with a desire to understand the world from new perspectives and explore their creative potential.  We foster interests in the arts, but DO NOT believe skill and experience are prerequisites for participation.  We aim to serve diverse populations and believe in academic differentiation, meeting the needs of at-risk and honors students alike.
